I spent most of my career inside multinational food sorting and packaging companies — SIG Combibloc, then Key Technology (Duravant) — as a trainer, a training manager and a field service engineer.
Since late 2025 I have run my own practice. The work is much the same, minus the org chart: a line is down or a system needs to behave differently, and I'm the engineer who turns up and sorts it out.
My strength is making complex automation work reliably in the field, and making sure the people who operate it afterwards actually understand what they're looking at.

On-site machine recovery and commissioning for industrial clients, Siemens TIA Portal training engagements, and secure remote-access infrastructure for distributed plants. Fault diagnosis on aseptic filling and downstream packaging equipment, across control platforms and CoDeSys generations.

Commissioning and technical support for optical sorting systems across food processing facilities in China — software, controls and optical calibration on site, remote diagnostics between visits.
